Your goals first

Find the right UK university for your goals

An offer tells you a university will admit you. It does not tell you whether the course suits you. We help you weigh the factors that matter before you apply.

  • Academic fit

Courses that build on what you have actually studied.

  • Career goals

Modules and projects that lead towards the work you want.

  • Total cost

Tuition, living and visa costs you can realistically fund.

  • University and department

Teaching, support and facilities that suit how you learn.

  • Location

Cities and regions that match your budget and preferences.

  • Entry requirements

An honest reading of how your grades and English compare.

University discovery

Explore, compare and shortlist with confidence

We do not rank universities for you. Instead, every university and course we publish links to its official source and shows when it was last verified, so you can compare like for like.

  • Official source links and last-verified dates on every university and course.
  • Clear labels: independent university information is never presented as a partnership.
  • Estimate your full budget with the UK Study Cost Planner before you apply.

Questions students ask

Frequently asked questions

Can Indian students study in the UK after a BTech?

Yes. Many UK universities accept Indian bachelor's degrees, including the BTech and BE, for Master's courses. Requirements vary by university and course, so check each university's entry requirements for India. Read our guide to UK Master's degrees for Indian students.

Do I need IELTS to study in the UK?

Not always. Each university sets its own English requirement and some accept other tests or evidence. For degree-level study, the Student visa requires English at CEFR level B2, and universities can assess this themselves. See our UK Student visa overview.

How much does it cost to study in the UK?

Tuition depends on the university and course. On top of tuition, plan for living costs, the £558 visa application fee from outside the UK and the Immigration Health Surcharge of £776 per year. Try the UK Study Cost Planner.

What is a CAS?

A Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies is a reference number your university sends once you have an unconditional offer. You need it before you can apply for your Student visa, and GOV.UK says you must apply within 6 months of receiving it.

Can Britvia guarantee admission or a visa?

No. Universities make admission decisions and UK Visas and Immigration decides visa applications. Britvia gives honest guidance and helps you prepare strong applications. Read how Britvia works.
